Each Lenten season we are called to remember Jesus' time in the desert. During this particular time in the US, Christians must also grapple with how to respond to fascism and Christian Nationalism. This study group will meet weekly to read about and be inspired by the lives of radical people of faith who resisted authoritarianism and domination. Expect lively discussion about well know figures like Dorothy Day and Dietrich Bonhoeffer as well as lesser known activists like Albertina Sisulu. Readings will be provided.
